,The third edition of the Golf Passport initiative arrives in Marbella with 5 golf courses on the Costa del Sol: Santa Clara Golf Marbella, Marbella Golf, Cabopino, Santa María and Los Naranjos.

The Golf Passport aims to attract fans of this sport and boost this tourism sector during the summer months. An initiative that has the support of the Marbella City Council, and that has the participation of 5 iconic courses.

“This is a good measure to promote one of the most important sports and one with the greatest tourist attraction in the city” –Ángeles Muñoz, Mayoress of Marbella

A third successful year of the Golf Passport

Santa Clara Golf Marbella, for the third consecutive year, joins this initiative. In it also next to Marbella Golf, Cabopino, Santa María and Los Naranjos.

Thanks to this proposal, one of the most relevant segments of the city of Marbella is promoted. At the same time, it is a great opportunity to practice sports outdoors. And also to be able to enjoy quality facilities offered by the city.

This sector moves a type of tourist with a high purchasing power. Especially in the summer season from June to September, there is a lot of local tourism. The intention is to lower the costs to play.

In these fields, which are eminently commercial, an effort and a commitment are necessary to be more competitive and attract players to our town.

Where, how, and when to use it?

The passport can be purchased at each of the participating golf courses. It costs €300, and includes the opportunity to play 1 round on each course.

You can purchase it during the summer and it is valid until September 1 and will allow you to play in all facilities. Remember that you must make your reservation at each course and notify that you will use your golf passport.

“The results have been very positive since the first edition, and we hope that it will continue to be so well received,» says Carlos Santos, representing Santa Clara Golf Marbella. «All the courses have come together as a destination, with beneficial prices for the players.”
